Thredbo is celebrating the end of a hugely successful mountain bike season, officially closing the MTB Park to riders on Tuesday 25 April 2023. Which means winter is not far away – bring it on!

Thredbo MTB Business Manager, Tim Windshuttle said that the 2022-23 MTB season has undisputedly been one of the best so far.

“We really took things to the next level this summer. It was awesome to see riders continue to progress their gravity riding skills, enjoying a whole new area of beginner and intermediate trails, and competing in some of the country’s biggest MTB events like Cannonball. We can’t wait to raise the bar even higher next season,” said Mr Windshuttle.

Closing celebrations were a big hit with riders over the weekend, offering a non-stop line-up of riding, racing and live music all the way through to closing day on Tuesday 25 April.

The final round of Thredbo Gravity Series took over the MTB Park on Monday 24 April, with a massive turn-out of competitors getting in costume and hitting the track for the infamously fun Chainless Champs event.

Thredbo MTB Park is excited to announce that it will officially re-open to riders for the 2023-24 MTB season on 18 November 2023.
