Southern Snow Season opens

We have lift off! The Southern Hemisphere snow season is underway, we could call it a draw between Australia and New Zealand as Perisher fire up a carpet and a rope tow on Front Valley this morning, but realistically the win for Australia/New Zealand goes to Cardrona, which expects to have all lifts open today.
Mt Hutt was looking good to do the same last week, but rain and warmth hit their cover so they are running to the carpark level off the Summit 6 today.
Coronet Peak is top-to-bottom on the M1 snowmaking trail bit tussocky off trail.
