There has been plenty of speculation over whether the resorts in NSW will reopen.
Thredbo will reopen, if they can – of course they are subject, like all of us, to government regulations.
“We plan to reopen as soon as we are able to, and look forward to welcoming our guests back to the mountain soon.”
Says Stuart Diver, Thredbo Resort General Manager.
“The health and safety of our guests, employees and community is our highest priority. Following the NSW Government announcement on 26 August, Thredbo will continue to pause its winter season until we are able to open again.
“While we are incredibly disappointed to see the temporary closure of our resort, we are committed to playing our part in ensuring the health and safety of our guests, teams and our community. We will continue to monitor the situation and are working closely with NSW Health.
Hang in there Stuey and crew!
As we have seen this week, conditions have been epic up there, and with more snow on the way there will still be plenty of great spring snow to be enjoyed. With lifts if they get the NSW government nod to re-open.
