Tested: Awesome All-Weather Everau Kids Boots
The test verdict is in on the awesome all-weather Explorer model kids boots from Aussie premium brand Everau.
“I never want to take them off!” insists our 4 year old tester.
Loved them is not enough. He adored them, charging through the Sydney bush over logs and rocks with an energy that left mum gasping to keep up.
Due to the ongoing Greater Sydney COVID lockdowns there’s no chance of an on snow test anytime soon, but Everau boots are built to handle everything and no doubt would take that in their stride too.
Everau is an Australian brand, based in Sydney, who took the iconic Australian sheepskin boot as a start point.
They have transformed that into a multi-faceted label creating premium on trend styles. They use only the finest grade merino sheepskin, which is naturally dense, elastic, smooth, soft and clean, best known for its breathability and warmth.
Everau use 3M Scotchguard technology to protect their all-weather boots, which is designed to block out rain, sleet and snow, whilst extending the life of your boots providing peace of mind and comfortable experience throughout the day.
All of Everau’s boots have Evergrip, which is a rubber compound that provides superior traction and grip in wet and dry conditions as well as rough and uneven surfaces.
They also have Eversoles which are uniquely designed double layer outsole with traditional lightweight EVA material and rubber to endure the most complicated conditions.
Both of these are included in the kid’s range.
How’s this for grip? George was having no problems scrambling over logs and boulders along the bush track. We called it a walk through the forest.
“No, it’s not a forest!” he exclaimed indignantly, “There are no bears!”
That’s true, not even koalas left in this particular stretch of bushland. But creeks, boulders, trees, plenty of them to charge around in.
It’s rare to find such quality materials and craftsmanship in kid’s gear, but Everau have cut no corners with the Explorer.
The Explorer model is also available in their women’s range, so you can go matching if you want.
The Kids model is available Chestnut or Black, in EU 25, 27, 29, 31 & 33 sizes. $149.95 Free shipping Australia-wide is included with all orders.
Go big is our tip – these will last ages and our tester has no problems with his being too big now. He will easily get well over a year’s worth out of them, when it will be over to his younger twin cousins to fight over who gets them next..

Bottom line same as the top line:
“I never want to take them off!”
