POC Snow Helmets: Comfort, Safety and Smart Tech on the Slopes
From the kid-approved Calyx to the tech-loaded Obex Connect, POC helmets deliver style and innovation for all riders
Choosing a snow helmet can be overwhelming but Swedish brand POC continues to lead the way in safety, comfort and modern design. We had 11-year-old Milla test out the POC Calyx helmet at Perisher, and she was all smiles. Plus, POC’s new Obex Connect is making mountain communication easier than ever.
POC Sports are keen on safety for snow sports (and cycling) and is a great choice for look, feel and functionality. Milla, age 11, wore POC’s Calyx recently at Perisher Resort, Australia and loved the fit and look of the helmet.
“It was a really good size for a helmet. It felt really comfortable, it kept my head really warm when I was riding”. Milla says she could also adjust the helmet fit to her own head so it didn’t wobble around while she was mobile on the snow.

The Calyx has adjustable features on the helmet, such as extra ear protection. Milla didn’t have the need for them on this particular Aussie trip but will keep them safe for her upcoming January trip to Japan, “I just put the triangle bits for the ears in the pockets of my overalls”.
The Calyx comes in 6 colours to match to your wardrobe, including white, black and green.
POC has recently launched the new Obex Connect – A helmet with a unique Mesh communication system that allows up to 8 users to communicate with each other in closed groups as they ride around the mountain integrating sound by Harman/Kardon integrated into the helmet’s earpads.
