Norsewear Cushion Ski & Board Sock Review
“Definitely one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a solid merino ski sock”
Jess Winston Smith is a freeride skier from Australia and wore a size medium sock in New Zealand recently. “I was really impressed by the Norsewear socks. They’re super soft and warm, with cushioning in all the right places but not too bulky. I’m pretty picky when it comes to ski socks, I’m in boots over 150 days a year, so it was great to try something new.
I especially liked the thinner section over the instep, that’s usually a tricky spot for me and this design made it super comfortable. A slightly firmer cuff around the calf would be the cherry on top, but overall they were a treat. Definitely one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a solid merino ski sock”.

Brett Vale wore these recently in Thredbo Resort and loved the look and feel but cautions wearers get the correct fit for your foot.
“The sock should be tight fitting and as a technical sock and merino wool, would be perfect for skiing in the correct size”. Brett has a size 44 foot and checked the Norsewear website indicating size 44. “I recommend going down one size for skiing and snowboarding for the correct fit”.
