Opening this December, Ki Niseko is currently the talk of Niseko-Hirafu village. With an unrivalled ski-in ski-out location next to both the high-speed gondola and Holiday Pair lift, skiers can be out of the hotel and on the lift up the mountain in minutes. Added to that, Gondola Snowsports, the new official International Ski School of Niseko-Hirafu resort, is less than 50m from the door of the private ski valet, so the location can be enjoyed by beginners and experts alike.
Ki Niseko features 94 rooms (hotel rooms, 1 bedroom condos,1 bedroom deluxe condos and 2 bedroom condos are all available) plus 2 incredible Penthouses with 360 degree panoramic views of the resort and Mt Yotei. All rooms have picture windows with uninterrupted views out to Mt Yotei or up the ski hill.
The first floor features celebrity Japanese chef Shinichi Maeda’s restaurant, An Dining. Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day from the cafe and bar, guests can enjoy the unforgettable experience of dining at Maeda-san’s table. A master sushi chef by training, Maeda-san has travelled the world working in some of the finest kitchens. He spent 10 years in Australia, winning two awards for best Asian restaurant at two different restaurants, before taking up his role as Director and Executive Chef at An Dining – returning to his homeland of Hokkaido.
Also on the first floor, hotel guests have exclusive access to indoor and outdoor onsen hot springs as well as being able to book two private family onsens and enjoy massage and spa services. After a hard day enjoying the best snow in the world there is no finer way to relax those aching muscles than in a Japanese natural mineral onsen!
All rooms are on the second floor or above, affording those extra special views of the resort and mountains. With free wifi throughout the hotel and luxury amenities thrown in, guests will recognise the effort that the Ki Niseko team go to in order to make your stay extra special. The private ski valet on the second floor, with a ramp leading directly onto the slopes, gives Ki Niseko true ski-in ski-out access to that world famous powder snow. Get your skis looked after by the ski valet team and your boots warmed overnight so you are ready to head back out bright and early on the first lift!
When asked what makes Ki Niseko so unique, General Manager Chris Pickering had one simple answer, “Location, location, location”.
No arguments from us – it’s the best location at Hirafu hands down.
