- Family Apartments have rooms with bunk beds recommended for travellers with kids. These are a fun and popular option.
- Japanese Apartments feature premium and traditional tatami mats and the apartments are filled with beautiful traditional Japanese decor, including ancient motifs and symbols. These are popular for travellers wishing to immerse themselves in the local culture.
- Connecting Family Apartments are two separate spacious rooms with a door connecting them to give personal space but still access to each other.
Out and About
MIMARU staff are all multilingual and happy to support you with whatever you need, including travel advice for learning about the local area. Please ask them if you need advice on train tickets, day trips, excursions or information about Japanese traditions or cultural experiences so you don’t accidentally offend somebody with something simple, such as putting your feet on a train seat or not removing your shoes inside a temple.
Ski Travel
MIMARU staff can assist with advice on how to get to your snow resort. They can help you with shinkansen (bullet trains) and regular trains and bus timetables. They can assist with Black Cat luggage courier and other courier services to and from the airport, your hotel and the snow resort and help you translate anything on the snow resort map regarding ski rental or ski lesson information.
