Here’s why we love our OOSC gear:

Uber cool yet toasty warm base layers from OOSC the company putting the funk back in snow wear.

Did someone say “I’m too sexy for my ski suit”?

We already told you about their awesome jackets and pants.

Now check out the styly OOSC base layer range: his, hers and unisex options to keep you warm and raise the aprés temperature when you slip the outer layers off.

Who else is over boring black, grey or navy thermals? We have wardrobes full of this stuff at Snow Action HQ and most of it is as boring as bat poo, functional or not.

Then along came OOSC and brightened up our World.

If you look like you can ski or party (or think you do!), you will do it better. That’s human nature.

The UK brand started out as a big idea from two uni mates in 2014 to combine their love of aprés and skiing into new ski suits fit for purpose. The suits road tested on friends were an immediate hit.

In 2017 jackets, pants and base layers followed. Now the range has expanded to swim and active leisure wear.

“Our aspiration was always to bring fun and colour back to the mountains and we feel our base layers deliver on this front.”

says OOSC co-founder Nick. “We also pride ourselves on the fact that they are all made from recycled polyester too!”

There is so much tech gear to choose from in snow shops these days. But most of it is boring as.

Not OOSC. Across the range it rocks.

Hey, in the real World jungle I’m a bit over the hill to be king, but wearing my Rastafaride base layer I sure feel like it. After a few days hard skiing and a few washes it still looks new and feels great.

OOSC thermals, a mid-layer and their popover Jamie Nicholls Park jacket are all I needed through July and early August.

It’s warming up fast now as the days lengthen down under and soon I’ll likely dispense with the mid-layer most of the time.

OOSC is gear that will stack up for Northern Hemisphere riding too when it’s cold and deep. Whenever we are finally allowed out of Oz to get back into that .. who knows?

OOSC baselayer pants have a strong waistband to keep them in place, it’s also fastened to stop it turning and compromising your fit or performance. They and the tops are made from super breathable polyester and spandex ensuring that you are comfortable and they are easy to move in.

Also featuring flat lock seams to avoid chafing, fast drying moisture wicking, four-way stretch special anti-bacterial fabrics.

Performance wise, OOSC Fresh Tech is designed for keeping you warm when it’s cold but also super breathable to keep you feeling fresh if it warms up! Use as a skiing baselayer or for casual gym, yoga or even cycling!

Like to go even brighter? Try the Fresh Prince or Nutscracker looks for snow lads who rock. I love my Rastafaride set, by far the funkiest thermals I have had in 42 years of skiing and counting.

For ladies the ranges includes Leopard Print, Rainbow Road and Pastels (Pink, Purple, Mint Green or Peach).

OOSC stacks up on price too – most thermals are GBP 40, so AUD 75, USD 55 as at 13/8/21.
