Good storage is essential for ski chalets as we have to take so much bulky clothing. Hooks to hang all the jackets to dry overnight or be ready to place on quickly in the morning. So many chalets and snow hotels are missing basic hooks in rooms and they’re a cheap upgrade.
Lighting is so important because it creates ambience and a cosy feeling that we associate with being warm and dry indoors on a snow holiday.
100% wool rugs with soft touch that is easy on the feet but also looks natural and welcoming. Best colours are natural and neutrals as the outdoors is the star of the show.
Placing good quality feather cushions (linen) can ‘pop’ colour into a room but also soften a sofa.

Choose one with a high back so if you’re reading or relaxing it’s supportive of your back and neck. A hard wearing fabric is recommended.

Choose a couch that is structured, simple and supportive and neutral in tone in a nice industrial fabric.
