Auski On Point For Latest Gear Since 1949!
Melbourne ski shop institution Auski has been on point delivering the latest gear for snow fans since 1949!
Did someone say experience counts? They sure have it in spades – and not just at the flagship Melbourne store in Hardware Lane but also at Auski Bendigo, Shepparton and Albury.
Of course that helps for everything from great boot fitting to gear advice.
But just because they’ve been here for over 70 seasons doesn’t mean you won’t find the latest and best gear.
In the boot department Auski Melbourne are the exclusive Victorian location for the revolutionary Dahu Swiss ski boots that deliver a super stylish aprés / snow boot teamed with step in performance outer shell.
That adds up to the world’s most comfortable ski boots, delivering complete versatility – yes, the SA team have worn their Dahu inners on the shinkansen scooting between locations on Japow missions, and driving to the snow on Aussie daytrips.
Ausskis head honcho Neil Ritchie had plenty of interest in the Dahu system and style at the recent Snow Travel Expo. Early adopters will have the benefit of watching the envy on the faces of those around them in the lodge or aprés venues. For more on why we rate Dahu check our review here, or get in store and try some on soon.

Apart from the boots what else is hot to trot we asked Auski Marketing Manager Ryan Boston?
“Another newish brand for Auski is Out of Optics, which has released the super cool Electra Goggle. These goggles use an electronic sensor that allows the lens to change between dark and light in a split second, so the rider always has ideal lighting conditions. They won gold at the 2021 ISPO Awards.”

Or if you want to stand out from the crowd and don’t mind paying the premiu to do that Ryan has another option.
“Brand new this season we have the luxury goggle brand YNIQ on our shelves. YNIQ is a Swedish luxury boutique brand with its goggles being handcrafted in Italy. Fun fact Lindsey Von is also a shareholder!”
If they make you ski about 1% as good as Lindsey it’s probably a good buy even at $679 check them here
