Madarao Marketing & Sales Manager, Aki Kitamura, who was key to opening up their tree skiing, has a new project based on his lifetime knowledge growing up skiing Nagano & Niigata prefectures.

“We have 20 resorts close by, many the Aussies have never heard of. With our new ‘Secret Tour’ programs we can ski a different one each day according to the local conditions” he told us.

Based at his family lodge in Madarao (or other accommodation as desired), Aki and his team will introduce you to the best of this amazing region.
Aki is well known to the Mt Buller community from his work-exchange season there in 2015. His enthusiastic personality is infectious, guaranteeing a good time, never mind his unbeatable local skiing knowledge and skills.
