It’s officially holidays time and the kids are taking over at Thredbo.
We don’t regret not growing up with ipads, but light sabre LED flares would have been cool! The torchlight descent is just one of the myriad fun kids activities happening over the next couple of weeks.
With school holidays starting today, Thredbo Resort is excited to welcome families back to enjoy endless on-mountain action and magical village moments that will create memories to last a lifetime.
As part of its biggest ever events and entertainment calendar, Thredbo’s July Kids Snow Festival officially kicked off with an evening of family fun last night including fireworks, a kids flare run, entertainment, Lindt Chocolate smores and hugs with the Thredboland animals.
And the fun won’t be stopping anytime soon, with a packed line-up of family friendly events and activities running every day of the school holidays, including weekly family fun nights, giant games, family après, movie nights and more.
On the mountain, kids are having a blast learning to ski and snowboard at Thredboland, with the older kids freshening up their skills in preparation for a series of upcoming race events. To cap off it all off, kids will be able to spend the day learning from the pros at Torah Bright’s much-loved Mini Shred event set for July 9.
