Scotty James grabs Crystal Globe overall freestyle title

Aussie Snowboarder Scotty James has taken home the overall title Crystal Globe for all Freestyle snowboarding disciplines – covering Park & Pipe, Halfpipe, Slopestyle and Big Air.

He adds the overall title to his cabinet full of Crystal Globes for Mens Halfpipe from 2014, 2017 and 2020, making him 3 time World Champion Snowboarder in the Mens Halfpipe and now Freestyle World Champion.

Locking in his status as the best on the planet as far as we are concerned. Again – this was the story on last year’s World Championship.

Not too shabby on the X-Games front either .. he has dominated there for the past several years.

But ‘King of the Kids’ is another title he wears well, as shown at events like Oakley’s 2019 Prizm Palooza at Mount Hotham.

The mountain was buzzing when they found out Scotty was there, it was a lot of fun. He led a party wave during the day and was throwing out giveaways at the evening’s party.
