The Toyota One Hit Wonder Big Air was born in 2009, when Thredbo’s renowned park crew built Australia’s largest jump, which has since evolved into the Southern Hemisphere’s only gold ranked AFP (Association of Freeskiing Professionals) World Tour stop. Revered by the best big air athletes in the world, the Toyota One Hit Wonder Big Air remains the country’s biggest jump and an iconic event on the Thredbo calendar.

Last year’s high flying spectacle saw an unprecedented finals showdown, as weather, speed and jump conditions aligned in a perfect storm for the handpicked line-up of Olympians, World Cup and X Games champions. This year, taking place from Today to Saturday, the Toyota One Hit Wonder Big Air will yet again see the world’s best big air riders battle it out on the 100 foot feature, in the hopes of taking home the crown, cash and valuable early season world tour points.

The fun continues off the slopes on Friday and Saturday night, with music line-ups set to impress the masses. On Friday 9th, Corona has partnered with Thredbo to bring snow-goers and music-lovers a killer line-up of performances for the One Hit Wonder Mountain Festival, with Sweet Mix Kids and Gypsy & the Cat playing poolside on Friday afternoon from 2pm until 8pm

On Saturday, the party will move from the mountain and into the village square as Corona Concert Series continues with Castlecomer, Sweet Mix Kids and indie electronic legends Safia. This is a night not to be missed, party-goers can book free buses from Jindabyne to Thredbo now via the e-store.

All the action and entertainment during this huge week is free for visitors, with plenty on offer for all abilities and ages to enjoy. For a full schedule of events and packages, please visit www.Thredbo.com.au or www.onehitwonderevent.com.
