NZSki Ltd, owners of Queenstown resorts Coronet Peak and The Remarkables plus Mt Hutt in Canterbury are shaking up the competition in Southern Hemisphere ski savings, with the early bird release of season passes starting as low as $299NZ per person for the entire winter season.

Aimed at increasing snow sports participation for Australians travelling across the Tasman to the South Island, NZSki extensively reviewed its annual season pass offerings with not only hundreds of dollars shaved from the pass prices but with increased choice and extended benefits.

Mt Hutt Ski Resort located one hour from Christchurch, is leading the discounts with their early bird offer of $299NZpp. Recently winning the honour of New Zealand’s best ski resort at the World Ski Awards in Austria, Mt. Hutt is renowned as a true locals mountain, delivering a quality ski and snowboard experience for beginners, families and die-hard snowsport fans.

Discounts also extend to combine Mt. Hutt with sister resorts Coronet Peak and The Remarkables in the cosmopolitan resort town of Queenstown for a 3 Peak Pass available at an Earlybird price of $599NZ per person.

“The 3 Peak Pass is $400 cheaper than last year’s equivalent pass, while still offering access to all three ski areas. The Mt Hutt pass alone represents a saving of $450NZ on the equivalent pass in 2015. Multi-day passes are also on offer for the earlybird period at discounts of up to 30% on full season rates. The discounts has been developed to provide an affordable way in to skiing and riding for Australian visitors,” said Craig Douglas, Marketing Manager, NZSki.

Additionally, a four-day Learn To Ski package (lift, lesson and rental) has been introduced at $499NZ for Queenstown and $299 for Mt Hutt, with an optional $100 upgrade to a Season Pass once the programme has been completed. The current strength of the Australian Dollar vs the Kiwi will also allow for additional savings.

All passes can be bought online at www.nzski.com between 17 December 2015 and 31 March 2016, making them the perfect Christmas gift for friends or family.
