Burton Riders Debut ‘From Burton to the World’ Collection on the World Stage

Burton has unveiled ‘From Burton to the World’, a limited-edition snowboard, apparel and accessories collection that puts the words of late founder Jake Burton Carpenter front and centre. The drop is being debuted this month by Burton’s global team as they compete in Aspen, Colorado and Laax, Switzerland, with the collection landing worldwide on February 3, 2026.

Rather than leaning into nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake, the collection ties Jake Burton’s most recognisable quotes directly to the riders pushing snowboarding forward today. Each piece reflects the idea that while competition may be individual, snowboarding has always been about community, creativity and shared energy on snow.

Burton Owner and Chair of the Board Donna Carpenter said the collection is a tribute to the values Jake built the brand on.

“Jake built Burton on a simple belief: snowboarding brings people together,” Carpenter said. “Each board carries Jake’s words, but more importantly, ‘From Burton to the World’ represents the passion snowboarders share on and off the mountain.”

Jake’s Words, Chosen by the Riders

The collection was shaped with direct input from Burton team riders, who worked alongside designers to select the quotes that resonated most with them. The result is six snowboard designs, each featuring bold block-print quotes and a vibrant colour palette.

Boards in the collection include:

  • ‘Have As Much Fun As Possible’, ridden by Oliver Martin, Gaon Choi, Hiroto Ogiwara, Yiming Su, Mitsuki Ono, Nicola Liviero, Shaotong Wu and Clemens Millauer.
  • ‘Riding Is Where the Energy Comes From & It’s Also Where It Goes’, ridden by Anna Gasser, Ayumu Hirano, Hanna Karrer, Reira Iwabuchi, Romain Allemand, Taiga Hasegawa and Jakub Hrones.
  • ‘Here at Burton We Take Our Fun Seriously’, ridden by Brock Crouch, Jiayu Liu, Jonas Hasler, Leon Vockensperger, Øyvind Kirkhus, Telma Sarkipajou, Dane Menzies and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott.
  • ‘The Best Thing About Snowboarding – It’s Not How You Look But How You Feel’, ridden by Shuichiro Shigeno.
  • ‘Believe in Snowboarding’, ridden by Kaishu Hirano.
  • ‘Question: Is Snowboarding a Fad? Answer: Get Serious’, ridden by Cam Melville Ives, Clemens Millauer, Lu Yang, Mark McMorris and Mari Fukada.

A Collection Rooted in Snowboarding’s Core

Alongside the snowboards, the ‘From Burton to the World’ collection also includes apparel and accessories, giving fans the chance to own a piece of snowboarding history while supporting the riders carrying Jake Burton’s vision into the future.

The collection will be available in limited quantities globally from February 3, via Burton.com, Burton flagship stores and selected retail partners.

Burton was founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter and has been instrumental in shaping snowboarding from its earliest days into the global sport it is today. The brand continues to support riders, product innovation and sustainability initiatives worldwide.

For snowboarders, this drop is less about looking back and more about recognising where the sport came from and where it’s headed next, guided by the words of the person who helped make it all possible.
