Flylow Crowe jacket is hoody heaven, on or off snow

snow action team 11.09.2020

Flylow are flying high downunder! Now available in Australia from Alpine Sports Jindabyne.

This is great gear made by enthusiasts who know their stuff and what they – and we – need.

The Flylow Crowe jacket delivers hoody heaven, the perfect mid-layer under a shell when it’s cold or top layer when it’s warmer, great for active lifestyles on or off snow says tester Steve Leeder, who has been working it hard all season.

Simple and functional are my key things in looking for a new piece of gear and I have definitely found it with the Crowe jacket from FLY LOW.

These guys started out as a couple of tele skiers from Colorado some 20 odd years ago and have built up a brand that has gone from strength to strength.

Now selling all over the world, FLY LOW makes some pretty cool stuff. We have received a few pieces of gear from Dan and the crew and the first one I am vibing on heaps is a really simple (read minimalist designed) Primaloft filled hoody.

I love the soft feel of the material inside which means even with just a tee shirt on under it feels real cozy. The stretch rip stop means that it moves when you move. I have been caught out thinking its just going to be a cold dry day so far more times than I care to EVER have happen and the Prim aloft has still kept me warm.

Packability is pretty key for a layer like this so I thought Id see just how small I could get it and it actually fits inside its own pocket. I think that’s pretty rad but I wish they had put a reversible zipper on that pocket so it was easier to zip up

I love a piece of kit that works just as good on the hill as it does in town or out at night.

The minimalist style and cut to the hoodie works on the mountain on a cold morning in camp, summit hikes or skiing, well just about any cold weather sport. Or in town when you want to go out for dinner and be really warm and comfortable.

If you’re heading to the NSW snow drop into Alpine Sports and check out the Flylow range for yourself.
