Epic Australia Pass last chance
It’s your last chance to purchase the Epic Australia Pass and enjoy year round unlimited skiing! Ski from June to October at Perisher, then head north to access nine world-class mountain resorts in Colorado, Utah and the Lake Tahoe region in the 2016-2017 season. All that for $AUD 899, but it’s only on sale until Monday, June 13, 2016, at www.epicaustraliapass.com
It would be a great deal just for Perisher, as featured on our Southern Winter issue cover.
We used ours last season at home then hit Vail, Breckenridge and Park City, which was only scratching the surface of what’s available. The Epic Australia Pass offers access to more than 34,000 acres (13,000 hectares) of skiing and snowboarding terrain; access to the Best of the U.S. mountain resorts – including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City in Utah; and Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in the Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada; and unlimited, unrestricted access to Perisher in Australia for the 2016 winter season.
“The Epic Australia Pass is a truly unique offering for the Australian market. Year-round access to the Best of the U.S. mountain resorts, as well as Perisher in Australia, provides an unprecedented value and experience for Australian skiers and snowboarders” said May Lilley, Australian Destination Marketing for Vail Resorts. “The access to iconic, world-class resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Park City is unparalleled, and our commitment to guest service and unmatched capital investments ensure the quintessential overseas ski holiday for Australians.”
Guests can also save up to 45% on accommodations when booked by July 31, 2016, but Vail Resorts believes pass holders should get the best perks. The Company is offering exclusive discounts for pass holders. Australian Pass holders can enjoy an additional 20% off the lowest available accommodation rates at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Park City, when booked by June 30, 2016, with rates starting as low as US$136/night for ski-in/ski-out accommodation.
Visitors can anticipate many new experiences this season across Vail Resorts’ portfolio of world-class mountain resorts as the Company has invested approximately US$100 million in improvements. Scheduled improvements include building a new, 490-seat restaurant at the top of the Peak 7 chairlift in Breckenridge, an area not currently served with a major food and beverage venue; and replacing the Sun Up chairlift at Vail Mountain (Chair 17). Upgrading Chair 17 from a fixed grip triple to a high-speed four-passenger chairlift makes every major chairlift on Vail Mountain a high-speed chairlift.
Stay tuned for the lowdown on Park City, Vail and Breckenridge in our Peak Season / Travel Bible V issue out at the end of June.
