It’s no wonder they’ve picked up a swag of industry awards, including Outside Gear of the Year at America’s SIA trade show, plus a strong cult following of novice to expert and professional skiers around the world.

The origins of the Astis mittens brand is tied to the heritage of its name – Astis means “mittens” in the Cree Native American language. Application of advanced production techniques have enhanced the innate practicality of an enduring age old design, making them extremely durable.

Made in the USA from handpicked full thickness suede leather, the clean functional design of Astis mittens, with no drawstrings, buckles or clips provides easy on/easy off capabilities. The length and cut of the long gauntlet design allows for jacket sleeves to slide inside, whilst providing a close fit at the wrist to protect from snow in the heaviest of powder days. The intricate beaded designs, which make them such conversation starters all have their own story.
