When Vail Resorts thought outside the square a few seasons back and introduced the EpicPass, valid at ALL their own resorts ALL season, plus with ski days at a selection of leading resorts worldwide, they changed the ski pass game forever. Most skiers most places think season passes are way too expensive for individual resorts, and not surprisingly the opportunity to pick up so many options for such a great price has proved irresistible. If you want one this year you better hurry – you need to purchase by 23 November.

Or get on our comp to WIN an Epic Pass – follow SNOWACTION on our Facebook and get on the competition which runs daily till all the main EpicPass areas listed below are open for the season; the more times you enter the more chance you will have.

VR Chairman & CEO Rob Katz was down under recently spreading the word – Australia is one of the top 3 international markets for the EpicPass, which is sold locally by leading snow holiday wholesalers at exceptional $Aussie rates, especially if you get on early in the year.
“We have over 400,000 EpicPass holders” he told SNOWACTION, which is huge – if they all ski just 3 days each that’s the equivalent of an entire Aussie season in terms of skier days. Instead of complicating things with restrictions, blackouts and the like – which are the bane of most lift pass deals, VR have just kept making it simpler, and better.
“Our goal is to grow skiing across the world. This year, Vail Resorts is investing US$85 Million in capital upgrades – more than all other US ski resorts combined – to enhance the guest experience. Additionally, we have announced a partnership with Niseko, Japan, for the coming season, to enhance the already exceptional value for Australian Epic Pass holders. We look forward to welcoming even more Australians to our world-class resorts this winter season.”
In huge news VR took over Park City recently, which provides 2 of Utah’s best on the EpicPass, along with Canyons, and by season 2015-16 the two resorts will be inter-linked to provide America’s largest skiable area.
In the Tahoe region you can choose Northstar, Heavenly or Kirkwood.
Of course Colorado is the epicentre of Epic – with Vail itself, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone & Arapahoe Basin offering an amazing array of options.

The Epic Pass is on sale now until 23 November for only US$769 at or through Vail Resorts preferred travel partners in your local country e.g.
