Stars come out for Warren Miller's Line of Descent Premiere

It was a huge opening night for Warren Miller’s Line Of Descent Australian Tour at The Orpheum in Cremorne as the stars came out – both Shaun White and Jess MacMillan were in attendance, and Aussie Paralympic torchbearer Joany Badenhorst.

Legendary film maker Warren Miller passed away in January this year, and last night’s screening featured a moving tribute to Miller, reflecting on the person he was and his adventurous inner spirit that has inspired skiers and boarders for decades.
Three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White is in Sydney to promote his amazing new August Air + Style event – which will blow the Domain away with awesome tricks on the huge jump and amazing music – and greeted audience members with a few words.
Shaun also met with Disabled Wintersport athlete & Australian Paralympic co-captain & opening ceremony flag bearer Joany Badenhorst to draw attention to DWA efforts and their fundraising with CLIF bar.

“Tonight was such a fun night! It’s always incredible when people from all around get together and share a united passion for snow. It’s pretty cool what we got to be a part of tonight thanks to Warren Miller.
Shaun said “Warren Miler was a true legend”.
He went on to show great respect & admiration for Australian athlete Scotty James, even mentioning that Scotty invited him for beers on the podium in South Korea.
