Slopestyle World Cup added to NZ Winter Games lineup

We told you our side of the planet had the events, talent and terrain to rival any up north in the new Buyer’s bible/Southern Pride issue, and to emphasise the point the NZ Winter Games this August adds Slopestyle World Cups to last year’s Half Pipe World Cup for freeskiing, so it will be full on with world class fields going for points just 6 months out from the Sochi Olympics.

The Pipe is scheduled for August 15 (Qualifying) and 16 (Finals) at Cardrona and the Slopestyle August 24 (Qualifying), August 25 (Finals) at Snow Park.

A full program of related events will go off in Queenstown and Wanaka for the duration.
