Gondola Snowsports is the new official International Ski School of Niseko-Hirafu resort, conveniently located at the Hirafu gondola.

GoSnow-Snow-Action

All lessons are conducted in English professional and accredited instructors and trainers from Australia, New Zealand, North America and Europe.
Director Tareesa Straatmans was excited but busy when Snow Action caught up with her in October. After several seasons in Niseko she’s fully aware of the special difference local knowledge makes there, when so many come specifically to ski the famous powder.
For the gung-ho they will be offering a Powder Guides program for accessing the back and side country.
But for the less intrepid, and those wanting to work on their technique as well, she suggests their private lessons.
“Our full day private lessons for a flat rate (¥53,000) for up to 6 participants are a great way to find the best snow and get tips how to ski it better.”
Of course they have a full range of group morning or afternoon lessons (maximum 6 per group for adults or 8 for kids) for all standards too.
Their kids and beginner facility at the base includes a new magic carpet lift, plus lunch, rest and toilet facilities all conveniently close to the gondola.
Yama Riders offers full and half day Ski and Snowboard kids programs for 7-10 year olds, and Teen Programs for 11-14 age group, with lunch included.
The Ninja Kids program, developed with safety and fun in mind, is for young skiers aged 3-6 years.

WIN half day private lessons for up to 6 people – follow SNOWACTION on Facebook and get on the competitions as they happen
